Long Island, NY - When summer fades and winter quickly approaches, facilities in the northeast dive into renovation / restoration mode. As BBB's Licensed Installer on Long Island, Maxwell Turf and Supply has installations taking place on a weekly basis. Thus far during the fall of 2015, they have been busy at several prominent locations. Sunningdale Country Club, the Village Club of Sands Point, Bethpage State Park, and Garden City Golf Club are just a few of the facilities undertaking BBB work during their "off season".
It's no secret that Long Island is the home to great golf and also a tremendous superintendents association. Throughout the past several years, dozens of these outstanding courses have made the switch to BBB. Many superintendents installed trial bunkers prior to their full renovation and almost all reached out to fellow LIGCSA members who were already experienced with BBB to get their feedback. This type of communication makes the golf industry so unique and one of the best in the world!
