Dublin, OH - All greenside bunkers at the Country Club of Muirfield Village were converted to Better Billy Bunkers in the fall of 2014. BBB Certified Installer Aspen Corporation worked closely with superintendent Dave Gribler and representatives from Nicklaus Design on the project. Dave got his first look at BBB after a project at nearby Tartan Fields GC: "Everyone's bunkers were a mess after a rain event and those at Tartan were perfect." Dave and his greens' committee made the decision to move forward with their renovation and decided on BBB construction and Pro-Angle bunker sand. Aspen's crew was able to complete the project which included some reshaping, drainage improvements, and the Better Billy Bunker method in approximately 90 days.
