Pebble Beach, CA – As the number of renovation and restoration projects increase on the West Coast, the Better Billy Bunker method is becoming the preferred method of bunker construction. The much-heralded renovation of Poppy Hills GC includes BBB throughout. Bruce Charlton and the entire Robert Trent Jones II team did a fantastic job and the new Poppy has received rave reviews. BBB licensed installers Frontier Golf and DHR Construction combined to on the project funded by the Northern California Golf Association.
DHR Construction also continued BBB installations at Poppy Ridge GC in Livermore, CA and Callippe Preserve in Pleasanton, CA. Licensed installer Landscapes Unlimited oversaw a complete switch to Better Billy Bunkers at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento, CA. DPCC will be hosting the 2015 US Senior Open.
